The domain name laeelo.com (hereinafter referred to as "Platform") is owned by Third Point Consulting Retail Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "TPC Retail"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 with its registered office at TU/67, Vishakha Enclave, Ground Floor, Pitampura, India.

 

TPC Retail views the protection of Member’s privacy as a very important principle. TPC Retail understands clearly that The Member and Member’s Personal Information is one of TPC Retail's most important assets. TPC Retail stores and process Member’s Information including any sensitive financial information collected (as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000), if any, on computers that may be protected by physical as well as reasonable technological security measures and procedures in accordance with Information Technology Act 2000 and Rules there under. TPC Retail’s current Privacy Policy is available on the Privacy Policy Page. If The Members object to Member’s Information being transferred or used in this way please do not use the Platform.

 

TPC Retail does not ask for the following details from a member at any given point:

  • Net banking or Card transaction OTP
  • Debit/Credit card CVV
  • Password related to banking or UPI IDs
  • Remote access to any of the member's personal devices or accounts

 

Information

1. TPC Retail records, stores, and analyses the Member data that is available to us through our Platform and marketing initiatives like surveys and campaigns. This includes the data that the Member provides when a purchase of a product or service is made on the platform. Following is the information we request the Member to furnish:

  • Mobile and Email
  • First name/Last name
  • Postal code, and
  • Opt-in preference SMS/Email

 

2. This data helps us ensure that we take every measure so that our members are well serviced while placing orders for any of our products or service and its subsequent delivery/execution on/through the Platform. Products or Services offered on the platform can sometimes lead to a situation where they are not delivered in line with the specifications mentioned on the Platform. As and when such a situation arises, we make sure the members are contacted and the issues faced are resolved by respective teams.

 

Member Data 

1. To ensure that our members have the best usage experience of their purchases, we will contact the member to help him with any additional information member may need on a need basis and offer the member an option to return/exchange/ refund or fix the product at no extra cost.

2. To be able to process return/exchange/refund in case the Invoice is misplaced. Our return period is 7 days from the date of delivery and warranty provided by the partner/manufacturer which is specific to a product or service.

3. To send marketing and promotional messages and other information that might be of interest to our members. This is only done with the consent of customers. At any point in time, the customer can opt-out of receiving these communications. To implement and manage referral programs, surveys, contests, promotional activities or events sponsored or managed by TPC Retail.

4. To enhance and optimize our business practices and user experience based on the research and analytics done using customer data.

5. For studying demographics and taking decisions to launch our services that could be promising for our members in servicing them better.

 

Remarketing Tags

1. The Platform uses Google AdWords and Facebook remarketing services to advertise on third-party websites to visitors on our platform. It could mean that we advertise to visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, a site on the Google Display Network, or somewhere on Facebook. Third-party vendors, including Google & Facebook, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the laeelo.com website. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy, as well as Google and Facebook privacy policies.

2. We have changed our Analytics tracking code to support Display Advertising and implement Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. We use this information to better understand, protect and serve the Platform Members or Users. We use this information to provide the services the Users or Members request. We might use this information to resolve disputes; troubleshoot problems; help promote a new product or service; measure consumer interest in our products and services; inform the Users or Members about online and offline offers, products, services, and updates; customize the User's or Members experience; detect and protect us against error, fraud, and other criminal activity; enforce our terms and conditions; and as otherwise described to the Users or Members at the time of collection.

3. In our efforts to continually improve our product and service offerings, we collect and analyze demographic and profile data about our user's activity on our Platform. We might use this data to tailor the Member’s experience on our Platform, providing the Member with content that we think the Member might be interested in and displaying the content according to the Member’s preferences.

4. Using the Ads Settings, the Users or Members can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads. The Users can also opt-out of Google Analytics using Google Analytics currently available opt-outs for the web.

6. TPC Retail may share personal information with TPC Retail’s other corporate entities and affiliates. These entities and affiliates may market to the Members as a result of such sharing unless the Member explicitly opt-outs.

7. TPC Retail may disclose personal information to third parties. This disclosure may be required for us to provide the Members access to TPC Retail, comply with TPC Retail’s legal obligations, enforce TPC Retail’s Member Agreement, facilitate TPC Retail’s marketing and advertising activities, or prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities related to TPC Retail’s Services. TPC Retail does not disclose Member’s personal information to third parties for their marketing and advertising purposes without Member’s explicit consent.

8. TPC Retail may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes. TPC Retail may disclose personal information to law enforcement offices, third-party rights owners, or others in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce TPC Retail’s Terms or Privacy Policy; respond to claims that an advertisement, posting or other content violates the rights of a third party; or protect the rights, property or personal safety of TPC Retail’s Members or the general public.

9. TPC Retail and TPC Retail’s affiliates will share/transfer some or all of the Member’s personal information with another business entity should TPC Retail (or TPC Retail’s assets) plan to merge with, or be acquired by that business entity, or re-organization, amalgamation, restructuring of business. In the event, such transactions occur, other business entities (or the new combined entity) will be required to follow this privacy policy with respect to TPC Retail’s personal information.

 

Cookies

1. We use data collection devices such as "cookies" on our platforms to help analyze our web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. "Cookies" are small files placed on the member or user's hard drive that assist us in providing the services. Cookies do not contain any member or users' personal information. We offer certain features that are only available through the use of a "cookie". We also use cookies to allow member or user to enter their password less frequently during a session. Cookies help us to provide information that is targeted to serve member or user's interests. Most cookies are "session cookies," meaning that they are automatically deleted from member or user's hard-drive at the end of a session. Members or Users are always free to decline/delete our cookies if used browser permits, although in that case member or user may not be able to use certain features on the platform, and member or user may be required to re-enter their password more frequently during a session. Additionally, member or user may encounter "cookies" or other similar devices on certain pages of the platform that are placed by third parties. We do not control the use of cookies by third parties. We use cookies from third-party partners such as Google Analytics for marketing and analytical purposes. Google Analytics helps us understand how our customers use the site.
